Branding Workshop with Paula Scher

One week workshop with Paula Scher at ArtrCenter College of Design was a great experience. The assignment was to rebranding a publishing company. According to Dog Ear publishing: Something that is worn from frequent use and something that often indicates a reader's favorite portion of a book is called "dog-eared". We want to be that "favorite" spot for authors on the internet.

During the research, I have noticed two problems. First, the logo does not imply the meaning of dog ear. It looks like a dog care center. The second problem was lack of design system. My solution was folding down the corner of a paper and based on that, design the logo and grid system.
